Chief Financial Officer Kevin Artz

As the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Tolleson, Kevin Artz is responsible to provide delivery of comprehensive financial and budgetary services to internal and external customers, ensuring that Tolleson is managed in a fiscally effective and efficient manner.

Kevin was previously employed by the Town of Payson and the City of Avondale.  With the Town of Payson, he was a Deputy Town Manager, overseeing the Administrative Service Departments, including Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology.  With the City of Avondale, Kevin began as the Finance and Budget Director and performed that role for 14 years.  He was promoted and served 5 years, as Assistant City Manager, with oversight responsibility for most of the City Departments at one time or another.

Kevin has also worked on a contract basis for the Town of Oro Valley and Northwest Fire District as interim CFO.  Other work experience includes Finance Director with the City of Show Low, Principal Auditor with the City of Tucson and Senior Financial Auditor with the State of Arizona.

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting from the University of Arizona in 1991.  He has been a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Arizona, since 1995.
