Vicky Juvet joined the City of Tolleson as the Chief Financial Officer in October of 2013. In this capacity, she is charged with overseeing all functions of the Finance Department, which includes a staff of nine employees that encompasses fiscal oversight, accounting, analysis, debt management, investments, procurement, financial and budget statement preparation, grants, tax levy assessment, payroll, billing, collections and record keeping. Through these efforts, Vicky ensures that the City delivers the best services at the lowest cost, with a key focus on fiscal responsibility and compliance with the State and Federal laws.
Prior to working with the City of Tolleson, Vicky was an auditor with the Defense Contract Audit Agency of the Federal Government. Prior to that, she was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Pinal County, CFO for the Arizona Supreme Court, and the Deputy Finance Director for Maricopa County.
Vicky received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Masters in Public Administration from Arizona State University. She obtained her Certified Public Accountant license in 1984, her Certified Government Financial Manager designation in 1999, and her Certified Fraud Examiner license in 2007.
Presently Vicky is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association, Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Government Accountants.
