COVID-19 Testing Consolidates to Veterans Park as Tolleson City Hall Testing Site Closes
The Tolleson Union High School will resume in-person learning Monday, March 22. Due to the high volumes of traffic when school is in session, the COVID testing site at Tolleson City Hall will CLOSE and move to Veterans Park, 8601 W. Van Buren Street. The entire park will be used as an Embry testing facility.

The City of Tolleson Fire Department has partnered with Maricopa County to provide vaccinations to all residents of the 85353 zip code.
Who can get vaccinate?
Residents from zip code 85353. Must be 18 years of age and older.

Tell the operator that you would like to schedule an appointment for April 17th in Tolleson.
Spanish speakers are available.
What to bring day of appointment:
- Proof of residency: water bill, utility bill, etc.
- AND One of the following forms of ID

PHASE ONE
- Currently active
PHASE TWO
- Shall activate when employees are fully vaccinated and/or qualify for vaccination.
PHASE THREE
- Shall activate when vaccines are available to the general population.
*Fluctuation of viral positivity rates could result in a return to a previous phase. Each department will modify their service delivery based on the unique circumstances of their area of responsibility.

Tolleson Public Library
Phase One - Currently active:
- Curbside services
- Virtual programming
- Virtual summer reading program
Phase Two:
- Appointments for browsing and computer use, limit 2 patrons at a time for one hour.
- Virtual programming only.
- Curbside service continues.
Phase Three:
- Open in person services: while observing social distance practices and other special accommodations as recommended by the CDC
Parks
Phase One:
- Green spaces are open
Phase Two - Currently active:
- Open for strictly organized team practice for softball/baseball with COVID guidelines. COVID monitor to be provided by the team
- Sport courts reopened
- Multiple parks reopen
- Ramadas remain closed
Phase Three:
- Continue practice only with same Phase Two restrictions
- Ramada reservations resume requiring observation social distance practices and other special accommodations as recommended by the CDC
- Water feature downtown
Parks & Recreation Center

- Virtual programming continues
- Classes will be limited to ensure adherence to CDC guidelines on-line programming.
- Recreation Center closed to general public.
Phase Three:
- Afterschool programming to full capacity
- General use of recreation center resumes all while observing social distance practices and
- other special accommodations as recommended by the CDC
