City of Tolleson Calls on Community to Contribute to Memory Book of Old City Hall Complex
Thursday, January 11, 2024 – The City of Tolleson community is invited to take a stroll down memory lane and contribute to the creation of a commemorative Memory Book for the Old City Hall Complex, which is slated for demolition. As we bid farewell to these historic landmarks – the Old City Hall, Senior Center, Library, Court, Police Department and Council Chambers – we want to capture and preserve the cherished moments and stories that have shaped our community over the years.
Residents, both past and present, are encouraged to share any photographs they may have of these iconic structures. Whether it's a snapshot of a community event, a family gathering, or a special occasion held within the walls of these buildings, every contribution will play a vital role in weaving together the rich tapestry of our shared history.
The Memory Book will serve as a lasting tribute to the memories and experiences that have defined our city for generations. We believe that by collecting and showcasing these images, we can preserve the spirit and essence of the Old City Hall Complex even as we move towards new developments.
