Downtown Tolleson Halloween Trunk or Treat Event
Saturday, October 29, 2021 | 5:30-7:30 PM| 91st to 94th Ave and Van Buren Street
The City of Tolleson would like to invite you to attend our 2nd Annual Halloween Trunk or Treat event. This is a free family friendly event where trunk or treaters will spend the evening going from trunk to trunk and table displays to collect candy.
This socially distant event will have a layout for a one-way walk through along Van Buren Street. Local businesses and city departments will set up along Van Buren St., at various side street entrances and open side walk spaces giving out candy to children. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required for car/table space. Please contact our office by October 20th to request a space along Van Buren Street to pass out candy.
ROAD CLOSURE: Road closures on Van Buren Street between 91st to 94th Avenue will begin Saturday, October 29th at 3:00 p.m. and will remain closed until 10 p.m.
EVENT PARKING: Free event parking will be available at the northeast and southwest corners of 91st Avenue and Van Buren Street. ADA parking will be available at the southwest corner of 91st Avenue & Van Buren Street. Parking is also available throughout the community side streets north and south of Van Buren St.
The City of Tolleson monitors all data for Covid-19 and will take any and all necessary steps to ensure public safety as best as possible. Including but not limited to cancelling event if it becomes unsafe and is in the best interest of the general public.
