The League of Arizona Cities and Towns, a voluntary membership organization of the incorporated municipalities in Arizona, exists to provide vital services and tools to all its members, focusing principally on representing the interests of cities and towns before the legislature, and secondarily on providing technical and legal assistance, coordinating shared services and producing high quality conference and educational events. Each year the League of Cities and Towns recognizes council members for their service to the community. This year, the following Tolleson Council Members were recognized for their years of service to the community and region:
36 Year Award Recipients
Adolfo Gamez, Councilmember, Tolleson
20 Year Award Recipients
Linda Laborin, Councilmember, Tolleson
12 Year Award Recipients
Clorinda Erives, Vice Mayor, Tolleson
During this recognition, cities were invited to take part of the Cities and Towns Flag Parade where Council Member Lupe Leyva Bandin proudly displayed Tolleson's flag.
Thank you to all of the Tolleson City Council Members for their service and a special thanks to Vice Mayor Erives, Council Members Gamez and Laborin for reaching these monumental years of service.
