National Hispanic Heritage Month
Thursday, September 15, 2022
Starting in 1968 as National Hispanic Heritage Week and incorporating September 15 and 16, the independence days for Central American nations and Mexico, respectively, the period was expanded in 1988 to National Hispanic Heritage Month. Each year the National Council of Hispanic Employment Program Managers and the Hispanic Foundation select a theme for the month and commission a poster to reflect that theme. For this year's theme, visit The National Council of Hispanic Employment Program Managers For more information, visit Hispanic Heritage Month - Diversity Resources
